The U18 Boys travelled to West Buckland for their first match as a group to play thr West Buckland 2nd Team.. They started the match very well and with slick passing, they took the lead with a powerful strike from Lewis. Both sides kept up the pressure and Lewis took his second opportunity to make it 2-0. West Buckland found their feet and pulled a goal back in the second quarter. They kept up the pressure in the 2nd and 3rd quarter but the defence kept them at bay. In the last quarter, North Devon broke and Archie took his opportunity on the reverse stick to make it 3-1. The match was played in excellent spirit by both sides. It was good to give the younger boys the experience of playing at a high level.
